Small and clean little restaurant right across from the Victoria Head Quarter Police Department and also from Save On Foods Memorial Areana. If you like spicy food or less spicy, even not spicy, this place has it all. I been eating here for many years with my family. Foods always taste consistently, absolutely delicious. We have frequented this restaurant several times over the past year with both our sports team and my family. The food quality is consistently great and the service is fantastic. Our team usually books the upstairs function room which seats about 50 people.

So a bunch of us finally headed down to the Blue Canoe for dinner. A few had been there before, and a few hadn't, but we always go and critique places together. Absolutely loved the atmosphere, not a detail was spared in the design of the restaurant.
The real tester is of course the food, and it did not disappoint. They've thrown together some amazing flavours and clearly taken some chances that have worked out in their favour. The Drummettes....I don't eat chicken wings anywhere, but these ones were in a soy sauce of some sort that was fantastic!! The BBQ Salmon was probably the best salmon that I've ever had at a restaurant....not overcooked like most places. So much flavour. That was it for me, but others had a wide variety of food and rave reviews on all counts. A few questions on the sides that they came with, but generous portions and smiles all around. Oh, and the beer is good too...

Best chinese food we've had in years. We love the spicy green bean's, they are always perfectly tender crisp. The gai lan in black bean sauce is great. Everything we get has been good.
This is a small family run restaurant with a friendly young woman who seats you and takes your order and her husband who is the chef in the back.
If you want something differant than what is on the menu they always seem happy to oblige.
They also do a very brisk takeout business.
