Ate there twice in past week......have not been disappointed.........had veal parm and Greek slouvaki.......excellent service and large portions.....meals came with soup or juice and rice pudding and or jello........very reasonable prices.....one skewer slouvaki was 12.99 and came on a bed of rice, fries and Greek salad.......did not have the soup has it would have been too much.........would highly recommend......going back tomorrow with friends lol....... Mama's Place is honestly the best pizza place anyone could look for. The service is amazing, with friendly waitresses, and a home-like feeling ambience. Not only the look of the place was amazing, but also the food. I have to say that the pizza is the best you will ever taste, crust is not to thin, or thick. Soft in the inside and crunchy on the outside. There is no dripping grease, lot's of cheese and everything taste fresh! I haven't tried all of there food ofcourse, but I am positive that they are just as deliciouse as the Pizza. Just put it as simply amazing. I would go there again, but sadly, I live hours away, just stopped in Almonte with my wife and one of our friends recommened Mama's Place, and we loved it! Read more

We had a bit of wine, some people had beer (my boyfriend said their beer list was actually really good) and coffees. Everything was really good. Our server was lovely. The food here is so delicious. The menu is huge! All the dishes taste really fresh and the "bubble tea" is amazing! I forget what I ordered exactly, but it was spicy cripsy chicken on top of noodles. It was excellent. They also have the deep-fried standards like chicken wings, rice, and chicken balls. Anyone remember the chicken balls at Cresent Gardens? These are the closest that I've tasted to that recipe. I love the atmosphere! There's always karaoke music playing in the background, and the floors and tables are spotless. The little asian lady always has an interesting story to tell. All in all, although a bit expensive this restaurant makes great food, has a nice atmosphere. I'll be back! Read more

Pembroke is really lucky to have such a full-fledged buffet. Everything is well cooked and unlike some places, doesn't all taste the same. The spicy pork is really spicy and has a fresh taste. The chicken balls have lots of meat and the red sauce goes well with them. If you arrive too early some dishes won't be ready, but when they are ready, the staff keep everything replenished quickly. You won't leave hungry! I LOVE the shrimp skewers! The atmosphere is nice and calm, although it's a little chilly in the winter somtimes. The parking lot can get really full and a bit tricky to get in and out of. The staff are friendly but the need to interact is minimal in a buffet restaurant. The one lady always says "Enjoy your meal" even when there's no meal in front of you, and sometimes when you're paying and leaving. Read more
