I hosted my birthday party this past April at Casa Manila (group of 30!) I was esctastic to discover that they hosted a Sunday brunch buffet with their top menu selections. Mila was my contact and she was AMAZING. Food was absolutely delicious! I had several guests with a diverse array of dietary restrictions (including vegetarian and no pork). Every single guest complimented the selection and quality of food. We all left with fully satisfied bellies. I definitely recommend this place! Read more

This is truly one of the best Mexican restaurants around. The atmosphere is simple and as stated in other reviews, the seating is limited. The service was relatively fast and pleasant. What we ordered is listed below. Everything was fresh, delicious and the platters were balanced and well presented. It is clear that there is an underlying culinary passion at this restaurant that is rarely found these days. Reasonable prices make this an ideal spot for lunch or dinner. Made a reservation online, probably a good idea, heard it was a busy spot. We were late for our reservation but they honored it. And it was packed. I had the special, can't remember the type of beef but it was one of the best hamburgers I've ever had, and the poutine was also amazing. My girl had the turkey burger and sweet potato fries and she loved it. We also had the Pickle Fries (good) as a starter and two pints of beer, bill with tip was around $80. A bit pricey, but really a wonderful experience overall. One thing to note is the two-hour limit on dining, which is best to know about in advance.
