A couple years ago I stopped by Lou's to get a cost estimate to repair some minor paint damage to the rear of my car caused after backing into a steel cable. Other estimates I received were in the $2000 to $3000 range. Lou's thought the damage could mostly be "polished out" and immediately went ahead and tried that. Sure enough, that worked very well and I was more than satisfied with how it looked. It impressed me that they would find a way to repair the damage at a lower cost...right away. Read more

Several months ago I had to get a mirror replaced on my old Toyota. They took me right in, got me to my work, and had the mirror installed by end of day. Great job. I had to get some scratches and dents removed on my brand new Mazda last month. They did an excellent job. I had another little incident in the same spot and they fixed it for free! If you want your vw fixed, then call this company. Otto knew what the problem was after spending more than $2000 at other places and gettting things done that were not the problem, I called Otto at Raybern motors, he got the car in and fixed it for hundreds of dollars less than anyone else quoted me. I was treated with respect and professionalism and was not given a peice of garbage work. He did the job thoroughly and did not send the car home until he felt it was fixed 100%. He was the first person I dealt with that knew what he was talking about. Not even VW itself could fix it properly, even after spending more than $2000 with them. I would trust him with my car anytime! thanks Otto, you are simply the best man for the job. I am happy that he did not simply look at my car for the money but for the passion of being a mechanic and doing a great job! Read more
